Excellent course that is very well organized and easy to understand.  The author did an outstanding job identifying a variety of information.  Loved how links were provided to assess your bias and competence, though not necessary to complete the test.  However, you can not help but want to take these tests to explore your strengths and weaknesses and continue to find ways to do all you can to improve your skills as a therapist.

Mental health licensing boards in many states require several hours of continued education in cultural competence. In my experience, course offerings are designed toward educating learners on specific cultures. While that approach is helpful, I appreciated this broader view. Including disorders of sexual development and identifying the potential differences between immigrants, migrants, and refugees were refreshing additions. This was one of the most enjoyable CE's I have completed in many years. I honestly feel like I learned something.

This course, with a high passing score, should be required of anyone who is in a position of authority.

A thorough examination of cultural awareness with an excellent overview of areas where prejudices, stereotypes, and micro-aggressions commonly occur.
