FAQs

Why do I have to set such a long password?

Password requirements are set by the PCI DSS, or Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. It is a security structure that outlines requirements for organizations that handle credit card data, such as us. It sets the security standards established to protect sensitive financial information during transactions.

We have to demonstrate that we are PCI compliant in order to process credit cards, and we are now compliant with the upcoming 2025 rule of “passwords must be at least 12 characters in length and must include both numeric and alphabetic characters.” By utilizing numbers, upper and lowercase letters, as well as unique symbols, a password of 12 characters will take a hacker 34,000 years to crack by one estimate of password strength.

How do I create an account?

Your account is created when you place your first order with us. The checkout page will ask for both your billing and professional license information. Then you will receive an email confirmation and be able to set your password.

Do you report to CE Broker?

Yes, we report all courses to CE Broker within two business days of completion (usually daily M-F). Please ensure that your profile indicates the state that you are licensed in and includes the correct license number format. You can verify this from your account dashboard.

Click here to view all of the boards that we report for.

Do you report to ASHA? (SLPs & Audiologists only)

Yes, we report to ASHA monthly as long as you check the box to “Submit Credits to ASHA” and provide your 8-digit ASHA account number under the Licensee Details of your account dashboard. The date that appears on ASHA transcripts is the last day of the month in which the course was completed.

ASHA does not accept requests that are over a year old. We highly encourage you to check your ASHA transcript within 90 days of your course completion to ensure that your credits have been posted.

If you do NOT check “Submit Credits to ASHA” and decide later that you would like your credits reported to ASHA, you will need to submit a Participant Appeal on the ASHA website.

Can I register if I don’t have a license number?

Yes, absolutely! Please choose “Teaching” as your profession and “N/A” in the license field at checkout. This will provide a more general CE statement on your certificate of completion.

How do your courses work?

The majority of our online courses are text-based PDF documents that require reading and completing an online CE test and evaluation. After ordering, your courses are immediately available from your My Courses tab and will have links allowing you to download and/or print the CE test and course materials. We recommend printing the test to mark your answers on it while reading the course document. Then, when ready to receive credit, click the Take CE Test link to submit online for instant grading. Complete the evaluation and print your certificate. It’s that easy. 🙂

Is the test open-book?

Yes, absolutely! We recommend printing the test to mark your answers on it while you read/watch/listen (depending on course format) to the course materials. Then submit online when ready to receive credit. The online test allows you 3 chances to pass, with 80% required. If you don’t pass on the first try, the system will show you which answers you missed so you can make corrections and try again.

How long do I have to complete courses?

This depends on your profession. For SLPs, OTs, and RDNs you have until the expiration date posted in the CE Information on each course page. For everyone else, you have 3 years from purchase date to complete courses.

Can I view my test results?

Yes, absolutely! If you don’t pass on the first try, the system will show you which answers you missed so you can make corrections and try again. Once passed, you can view your test results from your account dashboard.

Are your courses approved for my state/profession?

Each licensing board has their own rules and regulations. Click here to check your State CE Requirements.
