Gina Ulery, MS, RDN/LDN
President/CEO
Gina joined PDR in 2003, just before graduating from the University of North Florida with a master’s in health science (alongside a dietetic internship). She is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), licensed in the state of Florida (#ND4596). Gina loves all aspects of working in CE – research, writing, editing, website development, artwork design (Gina creates all of our course images, email newsletters, postcards, etc.), and building relationships with colleagues (friends:) from across the country. Gina has served as PDR’s President & CEO since 2019.
Michael Wiederman, PhD
Director of Continuing Education
Michael was a tenured clinical psychology professor for 20 years, teaching a wide range of courses and publishing more than 250 articles, chapters, and books. In 2015, he left this position to provide professional development as the inaugural Director of Faculty Development at USC School of Medicine Greenville. Michael then served as the inaugural Director of Leadership and Professional Development at UAB, where he continues to hold a graduate faculty appointment. Michael also offers workshops and coaching through his company Mindful Professional Development.
Elizabeth “Beth” Seymour
Director of Communications
Beth earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Rhode Island and became a certified teacher, in both the USA and in England. Whilst in England, she had the privilege of working in a superb preschool, where she earned her ‘Early Years Professional Status,’ a British certification for working with children aged birth to five. Beth brings her 20+ years of experience in education to the role of Director of Communications at PDR, where she assists in all aspects of creating accredited online courses for licensed professionals.
Catherine Christie, PhD & Leo Christie, PhD
Vice Presidents
Leo and Cathy founded Professional Development Resources in 1992 and traveled the country offering live continuing education seminars for healthcare professionals before moving to home study in 2000. They both earned their PhDs from Florida State University (where they met :), Leo in marriage & family therapy and Cathy in nutrition and dietetics. They have both created 1,000-plus continuing education live seminars and online courses for healthcare professionals and continue to provide support and guidance for PDR while traveling the world and enjoying retirement.

Topics including: Attention Deficit, Medicating Children, Gender Behavior and the Brain, Fears Phobias and Panic, and many more. By 1998 PDR had 4 traveling speakers performing live seminars around the nation.

PDR approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC)
1999
PDR introduces home study courses
PDR introduced home study courses where printed materials and CE tests were mailed to customers to complete in the comfort of their own homes. CE tests were returned by mail and then manually graded before certificates were issued and mailed back.
2000
PDR approved by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB)
