Refund Policy

We do not offer preview of materials without payment; however, if you are not completely satisfied, we will refund your money for uncompleted* mail order courses if materials are returned to us in new condition within 30 days after you receive them. In the case of uncompleted* test only or online courses, you may request a replacement or refund within 30 days of the date on which you purchased the course. Shipping & handling fees, instant rebates and applied coupons will be deducted from the amount of your refund.

*A course is considered to be complete once the test has been submitted for grading, whether or not a passing score was achieved.

In the unlikely event that Professional Development Resources experiences circumstances which render your course or test unavailable or inaccessible for a significant period of time (30 days or more), you will be eligible to choose one of the following:

- An extension of the date to submit your test, equal to the time during which the course was inaccessible
- A replacement course of the same value
- A refund, if a written request is sent to Professional Development Resources

Information Collection

Professional Development Resources, Inc. uses an order form for customers to request information, products, and services. We collect your contact information (such as your physical and e-mail address) and financial information (such as your account or credit card number) in order to fulfill your request or contact you in case of any problems related to your request. Financial information is processed on encrypted, secure servers. Professional Development Resources, Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on www.pdresources.org. We are committed to keeping your information completely private. We will not knowingly release any of your information for any purpose, unless the accrediting body for the discipline you specify in the registration process requires it.

Orders

We request information from the user so that we can process ordered items. A user must provide contact information including billing and shipping address and credit card number, and expiration date. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact the user.

Third Party Intermediaries

We use a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

IP Addresses

IP addresses are recorded in our Web site log files. The log files are analyzed periodically to help us determine how many visitors we served and what pages were viewed the most on our site. Your IP address only indicates where you connected; it does not tell us who you are.

All mail order courses are shipped from Eastern Standard Time Zone on the business day following that on which you placed your order. We offer the following 3 methods of domestic shipping for your convenience:

Media Mail - Average 5-15 day delivery time, not guaranteed.
$7 for the first item and $1 for each additional item

UPS Ground - Average 3-5 day delivery time, not guaranteed.
$17 for the first item and $1 for each additional item

UPS 2nd Business Day - Guaranteed in 2 business days from ship date.
$22 for the first item and $1 for each additional item

International Orders - contact us with ship to location and courses of interest for a price quote.

We, as a company, are committed to keeping your information completely private. We will not knowingly release any of your information for any purpose, unless required by the accrediting body for the discipline you specify in the registration process. Our order page is a secure page, which you can identify by the small padlock or key on your browser bar. Also, you will notice in the address bar that the address will change from http:// to https, the “s” indicating a secure site. Our software encrypts data on the secure page so that it is safe from prying eyes.
